Students will be sent home with their iPads on Wednesday, June 5th to participate in an Emergency Preparedness Simulation with remote learning. Students must log into Teach Hub to access Zoom or Google Meet (teachers will share login links) from 8:55-9:25 am. The purpose of this simulation is to test our system for remote instruction.

Council Member Carmen De La Rosa will be hosting a Mother’s Day Celebration on Wednesday, May 15th from 3pm-5pm in front of the district office on Wadsworth Ave., between W 176th and W 177th streets. Join them for a Mother’s Day celebration! They will have a food distribution, giveaways, music, & more!
Last Saturday, student teams from PS 115 participated in Round 2 of the Minecraft Education / NYC Public Schools Battle of the Boroughs. They faced some stiff competition, and though they did not take 1st place in their matches, they put in a good showing, and we're extremely proud of them all!

Did you know that April 22nd was Earth Day? At PS 115, we celebrated early! The week before Spring Break, in the library with Ms. Andra, students in 4th grade classes learned about the problem of plastic waste in our oceans from the book "The Mess That We Made" by Michelle Lord. They then up-cycled plastic bags into awesome bracelets, to help keep plastic bags out of our oceans, and wore them with pride! 🌎😇
